Quote(s)
1.
“How could you?!” 2.
It was really over, and deep down, I knew
I would never feel the same way about relationships ever again. 3.
Problem is, when you are looking for
love that hard, you tend to trick yourself into believing the wrong one is
the right one; when if you look, there were signs the entire time that they
were always the wrong one. 4.
The problem is, by the time you see
that they were the wrong person for you, your heart has already been broken. 5.
We will always be together. … even in
death, we will be together. our love will outlast this life. If we run now,
we will be running away for the rest of our lives. We will never have
children that have a home. We will never have a real life together. we will
only have a mirage of one. 6.
I heard their boos and cries of
judgement, and for the first time in my life I didn’t judge them. I knew they
were only able to view the world through the glasses of the information they
were given. Sunhaven only allowed their citizens to know what they wanted
them to know, and all they knew was that Dimitrius and I were criminals. 7.
Considering the high council of
Sunhaven has pardoned these criminals we must abide by what they say. There will
not be a hanging today! However! We must agree with Jonathan Escrow III and
admit that you are playing a very emotional game. Your job as governor is to
make decisions that will protect Sunhaven. The release of the most notorious
pirate in the land is not a decision that is wise nor in the best interest of
Sunhaven. In turn, we have all agreed that this will be your last act as
governor. Should you refuse to stand down, we will have no other option but
to execute you for treason. As for you two, you are free, but you are hereby
banned from Sunhaven. If you return for any reason, we will execute the both
of you on sight. Be thankful that your father has spared you with his sacrifice! 8.
Reflecting on my past while I lay here,
hand in hand with Dimitrius, really allows me to see that everything happens
for a reason. I had found love in the most unlikely of places and our love
had overcome the odds. |

Thoughts
(1) My goodness! Found out your fiancรฉe was
cheating with your best friend a few days before the wedding! Helena must be
devastating! —————— เธ

heart breaks when I read what he said. |
Reading Experience
It’s sad to see that the father died because
of protecting the daughter. I was expecting a happily ever after. Guess it’s impossible
since people are trying to make a name for themselves during that period of
the time. Also, I feel sad for Dimitrius as he has his crew and friends being
slaughtered. I guess it’s impossible to have no casualty since pirates lives
by robbing from people. *Sigh* I was expecting bad story plot and bad
writing. Surprisingly, I enjoyed this story. It was right to give a second
chance to the author. I’m glad that I did. |
