DETAILS
Synopsis
LITTLE DEMON I was raised in a world where money and
power are at your fingertips. My father is a LORD, a very respected member of
a secret society that knows no bounds. When tragedy struck my family, we
discovered we weren’t untouchable. Just when I thought life couldn’t get any
worse, I was shown what hell is really like. Then he came and saved me. The
devil disguised as my personal hero. But of course, nothing is for free. Not
when a soul is up for grabs.
I VOW. YOU VOW. WE VOW. Easton Bradley Sinnett—Sin—uses his
power for his own sick pleasure. Like a typical Lord, he never thought about
the consequences of his actions. I grew up with him, obsessed over him,
craved him. He was who I pictured when I imagined doing things my body
shouldn’t want. One day, I realized he was not who I
thought he was. It didn’t change anything, though, because I was already too
far gone. If anything, I fell for him harder. Every now and then, someone enters your
life who flips it upside down. Sin wrecked me in the worst way, and I thanked
him for it by serving on my knees. As they say, nothing lasts forever. Men
like him never stay with a woman like me. I’m what they use, not keep. So
when he threw me away, I shouldn’t have been all that surprised. My body had always craved the darker
side of love. The kind that left bruises and scars. I was what most would
call unholy. And when the devil whispered in my ear that he loved me, I was
more than determined to show him just how devoted I could be. |

Quote(s)
1.
To all the dark romance readers whose
minds are as fucked up as mine, this is for you. Embrace the darkness, for it
is there that a light gets its chance to shine. And you are a motherfucking
star, so don’t ever be afraid to light up the night. 2.
You’d be surprised what a man will do
to survive, Easton, he added when I questioned how he could take a man’s life
and then go about his day like it didn’t happen. 3.
The point of being a Lord is to do
their dirty work for them. 4.
I’ve been here before. A lot of times,
actually, over my twenty years of existence. 5.
It makes me groan, thinking of grabbing
her hair and burying my face in her neck. My fingers digging into her creamy
thighs while my cock fucks her cunt. 6.
Everyone is dressed to the nines, like
they always are. 7.
I like the rush of killing. I know
that’s what a serial killer would say. And although I do kill people, I do it
because I’m ordered to. Not because I choose random people to torture. My
assignments come from a higher-up. And you never say no. A Lord lives in a
kill-or-be-killed world. And I don’t know about you, but I’d do anything to
survive. Even if that means taking someone else’s life. 8.
This is it. What we’ve trained for.
What we were bred for. A Lord is a machine. He does not fail at any task, no
matter how big or small. 9.
Pocketing the cell, I try to ignore the
pain in my chest. It’s for the best. I’m not the kind of girl you stay around
to be with. I’m the kind a man calls at two o’clock in the morning because he
wants his dick sucked. And I accepted that a long time ago. 10.
Until he understood he betrayed his
wife. A twenty-five-year marriage down the drain for a kink. 11.
I learned that just because your body
craves something doesn’t mean you should give it what it wants. 12.
Sex is like anything else – an act that
can be used, bought, or sold. It’s addictive. It’s that high you’re
constantly chasing. If you ask me, it’s the most dangerous drug out there. It
makes you irrational, desperate, and a little psycho. 13.
This son of a bitch sits at his desk
while she stands in front of his class reading off her deepest, darkest
desires, and then he fucks her in secret. 14.
“It’s okay, Elli. If you keep my
secret, I’ll keep yours, deal?” 15.
“Why don’t you call me Daddy.” 16.
That was the first time he ever touched
me. Years later, I’d willingly given him my virginity. 17.
A chosen must be placed on the list by
her parents. A male descendant serves the Lords. A Lord who has a daughter
may make her serve as well. It’s his chance to show the Lords their
gratitude. We all play our part in this secret society. 18.
Women are easy to manipulate.
Especially a grieving woman who lost her second husband. it makes her
vulnerable and needy to anyone offering her any type of attention. 19.
I try to tell myself that I didn’t know
better. But I did. I knew listening in on the sessions was wrong. I knew that
wanting those things I heard was wrong. I knew letting him touch me was
wrong. But I felt so good. being wanted felt good. I had felt lost and
ignored for so long. I was lonely, until I wasn’t. 20.
Why did I drink so much? I know why. To
drown out the memories that were screaming in my head. But they always come back.
You can’t erase real life. No matter how much you try. 21.
I’m not upset that I’m no longer
spreading my legs for David. I’m mad at myself. How do I keep doing this? Put
myself in situations that I know are wrong. First James, then David, and now
Sin. 22.
James may have fucked me, but he took
his time getting under my skin. Making me believe that I needed him. Lincoln
is not that kind of man. 23.
When I get my hands on you, those six
years with James will feel like heaven. 24.
Elli is a good girl and I hate what
she’s been through, but she’s been groomed for too long. You can’t reverse
that type of psychological damage. 25.
Part of being a Lord is always being at
the top of your game. You don’t want to be called out on an assignment and be
too fucked up to complete it. Or worse, be too fucked up and get yourself
killed. 26.
I never knew what he meant, and I never
asked anyone. 27.
The only parent she had just admitted
that she knew what was happening but chose not to protect her. Not to stop
it. 28.
The things Marcus and his friend could
have done to her are endless. Has she learned nothing
about men? Fuck, growing up in a world knowing that Lords exist should be
enough to terrify her. 29.
Elli needs constant reminding that
she’s owned. That she belongs to someone. Otherwise, she feels lost. Like a
child roaming the streets looking for their parents who don’t give a shit
about them. 30.
Go ahead, run away if that makes you
feel better about yourself. But you won’t get far. 31.
… the Lords have women on the side.
When you’re told you can have anything you want, women included, why would
they be satisfied with one? 32.
The point is to make the Lady as ugly
as possible. It doesn’t matter if he loves her or not. It’s the fact that she
stepped out on him. We are all about loyalty, devotion. That’s what I love
about you, Elli. 33.
And David, you owe me for David. I sent
him to you. Told him that you were such a good whore and needed to be fucked. 34.
You may marry him, but you will serve
whoever he tells you to. 35.
If life has taught me anything, it’s
that it doesn’t stop when you need rest. You swallow your cries and you lift
your chin. Because life doesn’t give a fuck about you. You either take it, or
you let it kill you. Never trust a man unless
you know what he’d do to survive. 36.
I love my sister to death and would do
anything for her, but she chose this life with the Lords. She had every
chance to run the other way, and she didn’t. Corbin isn’t they guy she thinks
he is. He’s a Lord and that will always come first. No matter how much he
loves her. The Lords will always like to test us with things that we love. 37.
I should have known the moment I
realized she had taken drugs. It’s her escape. He way of coping with
performing actions that she knows are wrong. 38.
To use me against her makes my chest
tighten. No wonder she hates me. She let him have something that wasn’t his.
She protected me like I have her all theses years. But what did it cost her?
Her sanity. she’s no longer the same. James toyed with her. Made her beg to
be fucked. Linc will make her beg him to stop, which he won’t do. He lied to
her, my father and hers never had an agreement for us to marry. It’s just
another way to hurt her. Make her feel like she was close to getting what she
wanted, but he had the power to take it away. 39.
“Yes, I know what he agreed on,” Chance
snaps, interrupting him. 40.
I’m serious, Becks. It’s not like she’s
a fucking virgin and you’ll be the first one there. I want her after the
wedding. Hell, you can be there and watch, but I want to fuck her before you
do. I’ve earned that. 41.
“She’s out,” he says in greeting. 42.
Well, I know I was fucked up, but I’ve
never been that far gone before. 43.
I fucked you cunt last night in our bed
and you didn’t move. Imagine if I had been a stranger, Elli. Someone taking
advantage of you in such a vulnerable state. 44.
Pretty sure she’s still in shock. The
anger will hit her soon and she’ll try to get back at me. I’m ready. I needed
to get her pissed. I was tired of seeing her depressed. All I keep thinking
about is how I’m going to walk into the hous and find her dead because she
thought it was her only way out. 45.
Instead, I’m marrying a man who plans
on loaning me to whoever wants me. 46.
We all pay a price, Sin. Some more than
others. What it ends up costing us depends on how bad we want it. 47.
I slid it into the slack for you to
sign when you closed on this house. You signed it. Not even bothering to read
it. 48.
I remember James taking pictures of me.
He would tell me that I was too pretty to not capture the moment. Or that he
wanted something to look at later when he was alone. 49.
The thought of beating the shit out of
Holland sounded good. it was exactly what I needed. But as I see my wife upset
and softly crying in the shower alone, he can wait. He doesn’t deserve a
moment of my time. she does. He already took her from me
for the two days she went through withdrawals, and I hated every second of
it. There was nothing I could do to make it better. But right here, right
now, I can do something for her. Show her what no one else has ever done –
that she comes first. 50.
He threatened to go to the Lords, but Laura
offered up Elli to him. 51.
I’ve had a clock ticking since I made
my deal with the Spade brothers. And I don’t regret it. 52.
“Everyone pays for their sins,” I mumble.
None of us are untouchable, no matter if we want to think we are or not. 53.
Lastly – don’t lose yourself in your own
mind, Elli. Don’t let yourself drown trying to save someone who refuses to
swim. Stay clear-headed. Don’t fog your brain with drugs or doubt. You are
stronger than that. Know that you are loved by a man that wanted the world
for you, even if he wasn’t able to deliver. 54.
Sin
lights up on it and I spin around quickly to look at the guy standing in the
doorway to my room. There’s no phone in his hand. 55.
I was always supposed to marry her… 56.
That was torture for her and for me,
not being able to help her. Being helpless to the one you love is a different
kind of hell. 57.
I hope you made him pay for what he did
to her. 58.
She wants to follow in her mother’s
footsteps as a sex therapist. I wasn’t sure how I felt about that at first,
but she explained to me that she wished she had someone to talk to all those
years and I couldn’t deny that I wished she had that too. 59.
She loves when I play with them. Especially
lately. They’ve been extra sensitive. 60.
I’m going t take my pregnant wife to
dinner… 61.
I want my family to have the life I wish
I had. Surrounded with lots of love and support. 62.
I feel the first tear run down my face
while I smile. This is what I always wanted. To be loved and feel safe. 63.
Our kids couldn’t be more different in
every way. People who don’t know our family thinks they’re twins. But what do
you expect when they’re the same age? 64.
They know the truth, but to them they
are brother and sister. Elli is Mom and I’m Dad and anyone who can’t
understand or accept that can go fuck themselves. |

Reading Experience
Mad doesn’t cover it all and I’m beyond
furious! This is so messed up and twisted! I know that what happens in this story,
it might have happened in real life. Which is why I decides to finish reading
the whole book despite being disgusted. Real life scenario almost always be
ten times worse than this book. I can’t imagine human will treat their
species with this kind of horrific things. It blows my mind in a horrible
way. I feel sorry for and what she has been
going through since young. It is very wrong for the parents’ part, well, in
this case, of the adults when they are supposed to be nurturing the young ones.
I hate it when the mom blames her sleeping with her husband. ARGH! I feel
like throwing punches! And then when it reveals that she trade her to cover
her secret… GOSH! That is just crazy! She SHOULD BE BANNED from having
children! She’s so dang selfish! I can feel the sadness she has when men
used her like she is just a tool! She IS NOT supposed to feel like that! She
is supposed to be happily growing up without sweet and loving parents
supporting her! But not preying after her, definitely not grooming her!
Goodness! She even used drugs after she got raped at sixteen just to avoid
the pain and holes in her heart and soul! The more I write, the more I got
mad! This is unforgivable! If you just wanted the company, why trade your
daughter? That’s your blood! You’re insane! May she have happily ever after with
Sin and all she has the rest of her life is happiness and everything goes
smoothly for her. Okay, enough with the use and sadness. ARGH!
I just hate it when she starts to pop the pills! She KNEW she’ll be used by
the guys! SHE KNEW! Yet she chooses to do it without considering her safety
and cry afterwards! Dang it! It repeats and repeats and repeats! You’re
twenty plus! The brain of yours, it’s not a furniture that grows on your
body, you know! ARGH! USE IT, WILL YOU! Other than that, when you have
doubts, please please please, confront your partner, DO NOT STOP HIS
EXPLANATION! Things wouldn’t have happened if you listen! AND! When you are
in danger, ACCEPT THE FARKING CALL!!! Gosh! I got so annoyed!!! Actually,
beyond annoying! Oh man! Why make your life so difficult when you can
simplify things? Geez! Overall, what Sin and Elli have is a
toxic relationship that suits them and suits them only. Do not attempt to
imitate them! |
Question(s)
1.
Why Elli gone back to have sex with
David when he was the one who raped her in the first place? 2.
Why is Beck supposed to marry Elli? 3.
Who’s Braxton’s biological parents? |
Three Most Important
Concepts in This Book
1.
When your partner tries to explain
something, LISTEN TO WHAT THEY WANT TO SAY! 2.
When you encounter danger and someone
calls you, ACCEPT THAT CALL! 3.
Have enough self-love towards yourself.
