Synopsis
Luke Masters is falling in love with
Claire English and he doesn’t like it. The billionaire developer is far more
comfortable giving screaming orgasms than tender kisses, but his sassy
electrical contractor wants both. With Claire knocking down the walls around
his heart and someone wrecking things on his jobsite, his whole world is
shifting. For a man used to making things go his way, he’s feeling unmoored. When a trip to a private club awakens
Claire’s curiosity, Luke is determined to bring her fantasies to life. But is
it a dream come true or a way for him to retreat from the love he’s afraid of
and into the pleasure he knows so well? As simple sabotage escalates to
possible murder, Luke and Claire have no choice but to trust each other
completely or risk losing everything. |

Quote(s)
1.
He’d never be able to love her like she
needed to be loved. The kind of love that meant family, building something
together and not holding anything back. 2.
The night had been innocent – mostly –
and she wasn’t about to tempt fate. 3.
Then she saw the time date stamp on the
phot and the bottom fell out of her world. 4.
She felt like such a fool. He hadn’t
made her any promises or said he wouldn’t see other women. Just because she’d
fallen in love with him, didn’t mean she was anything more than a convenient
fuck for him. Just thinking it sliced at her heart. She’d been playing house
with a man who didn’t care about her. She had to get out; she couldn’t
breathe. She couldn’t spend another minute in a place that smelled like him,
where she saw him everywhere she turned. 5.
That he could not only imagine sharing
her but would set the whole thing up made her truly and finally sure the thing
between them was never going to be more than physical. Every time they got
close to something real he pushed her away, using her passion as a shield
against his feelings. 6.
… even though she had no doubt it would
have felt extraordinary, it broke her heart. If Luke was willing to share her
like he had so many other women then she couldn’t more to him than an
exceptional fuck. 7.
Real men knew how to love. Her father
had, so had Pete and Mike. She was pretty sure that given the right woman,
Eric would too. But not Luke Masters, billionaire playboy asshole. She’d
recognized what he was the first time she met him. She’d just made the
classic mistake of countless women before her and been fool enough to
convince herself he could change. That her love would be enough to change
him. It never was. It never would be. 8.
“I’m sorry,” he said, forcing himself
to look up and meet her gaze. To give her this one last truth between them. “I’m
so very sorry.” “I know you are,” she said, softening enough
to let him see the pain in her eyes. “But it doesn’t matter anymore.” |

Reading Experience
I realised this is one of the books
where the characters are talking quite softly. I love that! The emotions are
raw and I can feel the struggling both characters have by reading it. That’s
spectacular. Lastly, I’m happy that Luke is finally coming around and decided
to beg for Claire’s forgiveness. It’s heartbreaking to see that he went
through what he went through during their time together. I am glad that they finally
reconciled. I mean I hope that they reconcile. (Otherwise there wouldn’t be a
next book. LOL.) |
Question(s)

Why someone frames Claire? 2.
Why someone tries to kill Pete? |
Three Most Important
Concepts in This Book
1.
Do not stick around a person if he or
she is trying to use sex against you. 2.
Do not wait for a person if he or she does
not acknowledge their feelings in a relationship. 3.
Do not think that you can change a
person because honestly, you won’t be able to. |
