Quote(s)
1.
The loneliness at Georgia was purely
based on her financial background and she hated it. 2.
Normally, your big day would be your
birthday. Or your graduation. Or your wedding. Any important event that can
change your life forever and turn it around. 3.
Janet walked into university the next
day and the first thing she noticed was a group of giggling girls throwing her
furtive glances and whispering. That was normal; every time Ethan deemed
someone unworthy of humane behavior, his fan girl group decided to humiliate the
person by their stingy comments. 4.
He knew one thing; she would have to
pay for it or people at Georgia would think he had become soft and anyone can
come in his way now. 5.
When Ethan grudging entered the party,
he was engulfed by George, Kan and Michelle and her little club so he didn’t
notice Nel slipping away from him and out of the club where the party was
being held. 6.
You’re an infuriating little serving
girl who won’t apologize to me but you deserve a memorable first kiss. 7.
Ethan could be trusted, she told
herself. She heard herself agreeing. 8.
The truth was Ethan didn’t want to ask
her out, not just yet. He wanted her around. He wanted to get to know her. But
ask her on a date? No. 9.
Perhaps she was growing too attached to
Ethan. 10.
Yeah but Ethan doesn’t want that. 11.
Michelle, I’m really sorry that Ethan doesn’t
want to sleep with you but it’s not my fault or my business. You can go
settle this with him if you want. 12.
But he has commitment issues, Janet. I don’t
even know if it’s my place to tell you this. Plus, his family would go berserk
if they find out he’s dating someone from the- from a different class. And trust
me, the way Ethan ruins people’s lives isn’t even close to the way his
parents can ruin someone’s life if they think that someone is coming between
their plans for Ethan. 13.
And you grew up surrounded by what your
parents wish for you and what is expected from a young man of your class and status.
So you want to be with her but you don’t want to let your parents down
either. You’ve also seen how your parents can easily manipulate events in
their favor without any regard for other people’s lives or well-being. So you’re
scared for the girl’s future as well. 14.
The fact that- that you’re not from my
class, … means absolutely nothing to me. But my parents – they – they can end
whatever we have in seconds. They’ve been trying to set me up with daughters
of rich politicians for ages. They won’t be able to accept this. And in order
to stop us, they can do anything to you. And I wont be able to stand that. 15.
Then make your mind Ethan. Figure out
if you want me around enough to be able to stand up for me when your parents
find out. 16.
When he tried to imagine a life without
fierce and bold Janet in it to lighten it up, it seemed dull and ordinary,
but practical. 17.
Janet knew this was her attempt to
distract herself from Ethan and she didn’t care. She wanted to be touched
again. 18.
If you want to be left alone, leave. But
if you show up in public, then don’t expect people to stay away. 19.
If something makes you so unhappy, you
should try to fix it. 20.
Ethan has seen her kissing Sam. This should
be victorious for her, shouldn’t it? Girls were supposed to be happy when their
ex saw them with another man. But Janet only felt empty and sad. 21.
Snap of out it already, Ethan. You honestly
expect us to believe you’re in love with such an ordinary girl? You’re only
pursuing this because it’s the best way to get back at your parents for what
they did to your previous relationship. 22.
I don’t particularly enjoy people
injured because of their own stupidity. I’m sure your fight with Jih could
have been solved without violence. 23.
Fix this. Fix him and yourself. You can’t
get away with everything you do, Ethan. I hate seeing you like this. 24.
Ethan, if you think that’s even
slightly possible, I’m willing to try. |
BOOK JOURNEY
Thoughts
(4) How old is he? Four? —————— ฅ՞• •՞ฅ ——————— (5) Where did Nel go? —————— ฅ՞• •՞ฅ ——————— (7) Seriously? Just like that? —————— ฅ՞• •՞ฅ ——————— (8) Exactly. Then where do you think this will
go? —————— ฅ՞• •՞ฅ ——————— (9) You don’t say. —————— ฅ՞• •՞ฅ ——————— (10) Yeah. I get that. But you have to think
of the reality. Whether you can throw all your richness away just like that

Reading Experience
I said it before and I will say it
again. Does Ethan willing to throw what he has now for Janet? No, then go
back to the parents and do whatever they want since Ethan cannot make his own
living. You’re an adult, starting by being responsible to your mood swing,
would ya? Geez. The story, oh the story. It might have happened in reality.
But I’m not sure if it will end well. Gosh. The story is killing me for not
knowing the ending. Will it end with happily ever after? Or in a bad way
where the parents will eventually break them up cause Ethan will not follow
their instructions? Or worse, where Ethan will eventually married the girl whom
the parents wanted him to marry and keep Janet as a mistress. Goodness. The ending
is getting more and more disgusting. Why write something and hang it there? Honestly,
I’m not happy and do not expect good rating for this story. |
