Inspector Zhang is rather insensitive. When a man is found dead in a locked room, instead of being shocked or concerned, he feels excited—because it's a classic locked-room mystery. He even delays calling the forensic team, seemingly unaware that valuable evidence can be lost as time passes. His actions seem selfish, driven more by a desire to prove himself as a real detective than by any sense of duty.
That said, he ultimately does prove his worth. By paying close attention to the details, he manages to solve the case and apprehend the killer. Well done, Inspector Zhang. Well done.
