SYNOPSIS
A sexy opposites attract standalone novel from USA Today bestselling author Rebecca Jenshak.
I have a type.
I love the good guy.
Responsible and stable. Safe.
So when a beer-drinking, quick-witted, tattooed hockey player asks me to tutor him, I'm suddenly thrust into the world of bad boys and bad decisions.
Jordan is a renowned player on campus.
He doesn’t take anything seriously, except hockey and partying.
But he gives me butterflies.
I’m a wallflower tutoring Valley University’s hottest player.
READING EXPERIENCE
Well, coming to the sentimental part—it’s sad that they used their university email to communicate. They should’ve known that once they graduated, the school’s technical team would delete their accounts. That means they wouldn’t have access to those emails anymore—unless, of course, they saved a copy on their laptop or something. Oh, silly me. And sending private photos through a professional email account is just… 😕 for me.
Jordan had no self-control at the beginning and seemed careless about things that should’ve mattered. But Daisy makes him a better person in every way. That’s what makes their relationship so sweet! What I love most about the story is the emotional support Daisy gives Jordan—it helps him grow. That really resonates with my own values and how I believe relationships should work.
Lust at first sight might spark initial interest, since appearance is usually the first thing that draws someone in. But it’s the emotional connection that sustains a relationship. I think that’s why Liam and Daisy didn’t work out. Also, because who someone is in our imagination is often better than who they really are in person.
I absolutely love the author’s writing style! I’ll be diving into her other books for sure.
