Synopsis
Amanda has had a rough life, from
living in and out of orphanages and moving between dead end jobs. She wants
to change her life, for good. She begins construction on her own exotic
forest hotel, hoping to turn her fortunes around. Lost in her ambitions for
success, she forgets to put work into her severely lack lustre love life, and
her happiness suffers. What she needs is a love strong enough to distract her
from work. She thinks she finds it when a strange, shirtless man knocks on
the door of her cabin... Roger is a bear shifter, and he's tired
of meaningless relationships with regular women. When he meets Amanda he
knows she's the one he's meant to be with, and he intends to do anything to
make her his. |

Quote(s)
1.
Please be here, be present. You need
yourself now more than ever. Don’t be absent from your own life. 2.
I can endure such poor breakfasts, as
well as lunches, dinners and suppers, because I know that in the long run, it
will help me keep my savings and have nice meals in the near future. 3.
Finding some more berries, he got them
easily with his claws and sniffed them. 4.
The sweet and slow melody woke in
Amanda such feelings, which she didn’t recognize. Those were other feelings
and weren’t related to the hotel business at all. She felt that even though
she had lots of friends, she was lonely. She needed someone, who would hold
her hand in the gentlest way… 5.
She had always avoided men because of
the unpleasant association, but this time it was different. The melody made
her heart crave for new feelings, new needs and new emotions. 6.
Of course we can’t interfere, as we can’t
give you money. Our financial situations are also tight. 7.
He was the bear howling at nights. He’s
a shifter. 8. |

Reading Experience
It feels like the author has just started
her author career. The writing style is still immature. I can’t pinpoint the
part where it makes the story feels weird. I feel that every character is
fake and very pretentious. This story can only be read if you do
not think logically. Amanda’s best friends are willing to take a couple of
weeks off to help her? Seriously? I really cannot imagine them throwing their
lives away just to go help their best friends. In reality, does the company
allow their employees to do so? It doesn’t make any sense at all. Despite all the flaws, I really like the
optimistic part of Amanda. She knows what is important to her now and acted
based on that. Suffer now and enjoy the sweetness later. Overall, the story is ridiculous and I do
not like the writing style at all. I don’t enjoy the story hence do not recommend
it to anyone. |
